Uniform
At the start of the school year, Reception children wear a school tracksuit for their uniform. They wear this with their house colour polo shirts.
From 5th June 2017 all school uniform will be available to purchase from Havering Schoolwear in Hornchurch, 160-162 Hornchurch Road, Hornchurch, RM11 1QH, telephone no. 01708 767890. www.haveringschoolwear.co.uk where uniform can be ordered online via the section ‘find your school’.
WINTER UNIFORM
This should be worn after the Autumn half term until the Easter Holidays.
Girls:
White traditional shirt which buttons to the neck, grey skirts – skirts are to be fully pleated grey skirts, knee-length with no splits.
Pinafore dresses are allowed for girls in Years 1 and 2 only.
Grey Trousers
White, grey, green or black tights or white knee-length socks (not grey or black or over the knee).
Shoes – Should be black velcro, buckle or lace up and fully enclosed (slip-on shoes, boots or trainers of any description are not permitted).
For health and safety reasons the heel height should not exceed 3cm.
Elastic ties to be worn by infants.
Jumper or cardigan in bottle green with school logo
Boys:
White traditional shirt which buttons to the neck, grey long trousers.
Plain grey or black socks.
Shoes – Should be black velcro or lace-ups and fully enclosed (slip-on shoes, boots or trainers of any description are not permitted).
Fleeces – are to be worn in the playground and not as a substitute for a cardigan or jumper in class.
Coats – plain black or dark green in colour. They should be as plain as possible i.e. no logos/names.
Headwear – school winter hat. Available from school shop. Plain black hat.
Ties – Normal ties for Juniors to be worn with a sensible knot and front wide portion to reach the waistband.
Jewellery: Watches – Pupils may wear a plain analogue watch. Small, studded earrings (these MUST be removed on P.E. days)
Hair Decorations: Should be plain and simple and only in dark green, white or black. Gingham green and white check is also acceptable. Longer hair should always be tied back. There should be no extreme haircuts or shaved designs. Please note that this includes shaved heads or hair sculptures; highlights, dyed or bleached; coloured hair extensions that do not match the child’s natural hair colour as these are not appropriate primary school wear.
RECEPTION
Winter

This should be worn in the summer term and in the autumn term up to the October half-term.

RECEPTION Reception boys and girls will wear the traditional summer uniform.
YEAR 6In the summer term, girls may wear their grey school skirt with a short sleeved, white blouse. (This must have a revere collar and may not be a school shirt unbuttoned at the neck.) Boys may wear long trousers with a white school polo shirt. |
School cap – All children should have a school cap in school during the summer. These must be worn on all school trips, regardless of the weather to aid identification.
Footwear – as Winter but also sandals can be worn as long as they have enclosed heels and toes and are flat.
Jewellery: Watches – Pupils may wear a plain analogue watch. No other Jewellery may be worn, including earrings.

P.E. Polo -Shirt – in house colours with school logo.
Dark green sweatshirt with school logo.
Jogging bottoms – black or dark green, no stripes or logos.
Socks (Infants and Juniors) – white sports socks to change into for PE
Footwear
Infants – plain black or white trainers with velcro (no laces) or Plimsolls (black with Velcro fastening).
Juniors – plain white or black trainers (suitable for outdoors).
Swimming
School Swimming hats – yellow with logo
Swimming costume – plain black costume or trunks, a school swimming hat must also be worn,
